A long term assignment in China for both my wife Patty and myself spawned our fascination with the people and culture of the Middle Kingdom. We were able to immerse ourselves in the thousands of years of history displayed in many of the galleries and museums both in Hong Kong and throughout the People's Republic.

Once we saw the fabulous quality of workmanship, the beauty of form and color, and the historical value of the pottery pieces, we were hooked. Our collecting became a passion, and the passion has turned into a business, where we hope to share our experiences and collections with you.

Our home is on the historic Northern Neck of Virginia (George Washington was born here). We are pleased to be able to now present our collection at Trowbridge-Lewis Galleris in Middleburg, VA.
