This horse is a companion to 0-198a another excellent quality Han (206 B.C. - 220 A.D.)'Lying' Horse.

Pegged mortise and tenon joints were used to fasten wooden legs to the horse's ceramic body. Horse hair would have been used to create the mane and tail.

Wonderful paint and root marks remain.
