This a quite extraordinary Tang Dynasty (618-906 A.D.) Court Lady. What makes her so unusual is the black robe with superb flower pattern.

Her robe is styled in the classic Tang low wasted style. The hair is highly sculpted and her little cheeks are bright pink.
