This is a superior example of a 'Cocoon' or 'duck egg' form with severely recessed foot and neck. The mouth is disk shaped with a radical flare.

The highly burnished black body is decorated with 8 vertical rows of the three drawstring motif.

This piece is in exceptional condition - quite rare.
