I call this rider Jack because he looks so much like a friend I worked with in China. He is from the Northern Qi Dynasty (550 - 577 A.D.) and has absolutely gorgeous rose and green pigments remaining over white slip. The rider has a small peaked Six Dynasty headdress, neck scarf and deep breasted jacket.

Great details of the bridle on this rather squat horse! Quite rare! T.L. tested.
