This
rare green glazed red earthenware Guan is a wonderful example of the later
glazed pieces of the Eastern Han. It has a simple shape with a narrow
mouth and slightly raised lip which contains three spur marks from the
firing.
What
makes this a spectacular piece is the silvery green iridescence from oxidation
of the glaze over thousands of years. It is truly a joy to behold!
