This chair is one of a pair of fine quality elmwood round back arm chairs. They are done in black lacquer finish with through carved dragons and deer forms in the back splats.

These are exceptional pieces and quite comfortable. The foot rest built in to each chair is a great touch of Chinese ingenuity.
